Dear „e-mentor” Readers,

It is my pleasure to present to you the first this year's issue of our journal. Let me take this opportunity to inform you that Association of Academic E-learning (SEA) is starting a new edition of certification proceeding for e-teachers - people actively using modern technologies in teaching process. SEA Certificate is a confirmation of competencies such as creating content and carrying out didactic courses with a use of distance learning techniques and methods. It also can be treated as a trademark of a university implementing modern technologies into learning process. A certificate candidate has to exhibit his or her experience in regard of e-education. The Association created the list of key e-teacher's competencies. The mentioned document presents a useful point of reference for people interested in obtaining SEA Certificate. I cordially invite you to apply to certification program, and also to distribute this information among academic society. Participation in the proceeding is free of charge.
