About the need to define competences of teachers who begin to teach online


The article presents an idea of competences which, in authors' opinion, teachers initiating online education should possess. At the same time, it has been decided that there is a necessity to design as soon as possible a list of such competences, which could guarantee on one hand an appropriate level of preparing teachers for e-learning, and on the other hand - would be a tip for e-platforms' producers on how they should equip them with user-friendly tools for preparing didactic materials and creating and managing online courses. The authors also point out some difficulties and conditions connected with preparing students for gaining knowledge in the online system, stressing financial aspects of that issue.
