Teachers Training for the Use of ICT - a report from the 9th National Conference

The article is a report from the 9th National Conference on Teachers Training for the Use of ICT, which was held on 6-7 April 2006 at the Pedagogical University in Krakow and also transmitted online. Over 35 educational institutions from 26 Polish cities have been represented by almost a hundred of conference participants. During the two-day long meeting more than 50 papers were presented both at the plenary and poster sessions. The scope of presented papers was quite broad - form pedagogical aspects of teachers training (including life long learning and e-learning), through the examples of EU financial support and the open source software solutions available for education.
