I encourage you to read 7th issue of e-mentor. The issue has many interesting articles, not only about distance education - we also develop sections Knowledge management, E-business, Lifelong education and Methods, forms and programs of curriculum.

E-learning in Poland, E-learning worldwide and E-sgh (Warsaw School of Economics' virtual campus) contain mostly articles concerning didactic and quality issues. They also describe a situation of e-learning in Latin America, Malaysia and South Africa.

E-sgh informs you also about current conferences and analyses possibilities of choosing best technology for e-learning activity in a university.

Knowledge management presents many practical problems. An interview, a report on KM in Poland and a case study give many valuable tips for readers dealing with this field.

In E-business we continue mobile payments and e-government subjects and start new ones.

We are already after a conference The development of e-learning in higher education of economics. It was one of the biggest e-learning meetings in Poland, having over 250 participants from over 70 institutions. There were over 30 speeches, describing current issues and research.

The first plenary session showed most important issues of e-education - its position in education, its quality and its pedagogical aspects and presented a model of using this technologies in companies. Many experts from Poland and abroad participated in the session. The second and the third were parallel sessions giving a view on e-learning activity and international projects. The fourth and the fifth sessions concentrated on practical examples of implementing e-learning and didactic tools. The last session summed up the meeting and presented main issues of the conference.

Although the conference consisted of 6 sessions, it was impossible to show all papers that came to organizers (the number was over 40). All papers are available in the Internet: www.e-edukacja.net (website in Polish only). I kindly encourage you to visit the website. The Foundation for the Promotion and Accreditation of Economic Education plans to publish the materials in 2005. The issue will be available also on www.fundacja.edu.pl.

As it is last issue in this year, I would like to wish you Merry Christmas, and all the best and successes for coming New Year 2005.
