Dear e-mentor Readers,
It is with great satisfaction that I present the April issue of our bimonthly magazine.
This issue raises an important topic of the changes planned in the vocational and life-long education systems. In December the Ministry of National Education published a diagnose of the state of vocational education and the assumptions of reforms indispensable in this area. The study presented in „e-mentor” discusses and comments on the projected changes.
I also encourage you to read multiple articles devoted to modern forms of education. The readers particularly interested in the topic of knowledge management, lifelong learning and e-business will find many valuable papers published in the current number.
Moreover, I would like to recommend a new publication entitled Potential and the use of e-learning in higher education (E-learning w szkolnictwie wyższym - potencjał i wykorzystanie, available in PDF version at the webpage e-edukacja.net), which refers to the the 6th conference The development of e-learning in higher education of economics organized every year by the Foundation for the Promotion and Accreditation of Economic Education, Warsaw School of Economics, as well as Universities of Economics in Cracow, Katowice, Wrocław and Poznan. The conference, organized on 19th November in Katowice, gathered more than 170 participants interested in the topic of e-learning, who represented academic society, public administration as well as educational and economic institutions.
