Dear e-mentor Readers,

Welcome to the first 2010 issue of the magazine. The current number is opened by the presentation of the topic of knowledge as well as educational institution management, both on the level of universities and of the schools of a lower rank. Moreover, in this issue, there is also the subject area of departments' management of information content in the net included. It is worth to notice as well that one of the papers depicts management projects, in particular the analysis of planning processes as a one of the phases of project management.

I would like to encourage you to read the papers devoted to e-education, which is widely commented upon in this February issue of e-mentor. Furthermore, the readers interested in company management, lifelong learning as well as in e-business will find the relevant topics in this number.

I would also like, just as in the previous issue of e-mentor to direct your attention to the fact of launching the database of university's e-learning activity - the project conducted by Association od Academic E-learning
