It is my great pleasure to inform you that our bimonthly e-mentor has been given a positive opinion by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and is from now on ranked on the list of magazines from outside Journal Citation Reports. It should be underlined that e-mentor got 4 out of 6 points for the category of magazines.

The Ministry's decision to include articles published in e-mentor to the parametric evaluation of scientific departments is an official confirmation of the quality of our magazine. It is also worth mentioning that the actual list of magazines is the first one announced by the Ministry after over three years period, which was caused by the changes in the system of evaluation.

I would like to thank all the Authors and Reviewers, the Members of the Programme Committee and Editors for the cooperation and their involvement in the process of creation of our magazine since 2003. I also thank Readers for their active attitude, millions of visits on our website, their opinions and discussions on the forum. The cooperation of both groups – Authors and Readers – has enabled creation of the unique value of e-mentor magazine, which has ben noticed and appreciated by the Ministry.

I hope that next issues of e-mentor will be even more interesting for our Readers and published papers will be not only a valuable and absorbing lecture but also an inspiration for further development, both personal and educational.
