I recommend you with pleasure current, and the first in 2007, issue of 'e-mentor'. At the beginning, I would like to attract your attention to a draft of legal Regulation of e-learning classes. The draft project has been prepared by the Association of Academic E-learning (SEA) and, along with a wide commentary, submitted to the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. We hope that this project will be supportive in finalization of a currently created law regulating conditions which have to be fulfilled to organize didactic classes with the use of methods and techniques of distance education.

I also recommend you other articles of current issue, especially a paper of M. Piotrowski and P. Betlej who continue initiated in last issue matter of personalization in e-learning. Equally interesting article about legal regulations of e-learning is presented by P. Polanski. Also a paper on the role of e-Envoy in building British information society is worth attention.

Most of 'e-mentor' readers are online users which is plainly shown by statistic: tens of thousands monthly on a website versus 1200 printed issues. Therefore, we are still developing the online version of our magazine. At present, we have initiated a new application - a calendar of conferences, seminars and other meetings which are dedicated to problems which are discussed in 'e-mentor'. The calendar presents conferences which were recommended in last issues and also coming ones. What's more, each reader can send us notification about important and interesting events which will next be published in the online calendar. We strongly encourage you to do so. Summing up, I would also like to invite you to forum discussions - most interesting of which are published on our home page www.e-mentor.edu.pl. Have a good time with our magazine.
