Last quarter of the year tends to be spent on summing up research and educational projects which also means increasing number of conferences and seminars. Many of them are described in December issue of 'e-mentor'. Also after publishing of the magazine, lots of interesting meetings will take place, e.g. 'Intellectual Capital of Lublin Area', 'Culture 2.0. Media - art - heritage. Digital dimension of the future', 'Social aspects of the Internet', 'Modernization of didactics. Axiology and information technology', 'ICT in education - international projects of SOCRATES program' and many more. In December, we all have more time to immerse at last into new lectures and books. Therefore, in this issue we publish more reviews of recent publications on education, e-learning, knowledge management, lifelong learning or e-business.

Among latest articles, I would highly recommend a paper on individualization of online learning, an article about product knowledge management and analysis of virtual environment features written on basis of American experience. A bit of sunshine and holiday atmosphere can be taken from a description of educational activity of central banks from exotic regions. Also an interview presenting student's experience on e-learning international lectures organized in Warsaw School of Economics seems to be very interesting.
