Passing year 2005 has brought us many interesting e-learning events. We have been trying to describe them in 'e-mentor' in forms of relations from conferences, seminars and presentations of educational institutions' experience. We have also published information about crucial initiatives in knowledge management, e-business, lifelong learning and higher education (here, the most important fact was enacting the new law Bill about higher education in Poland). We hope that also our articles have been an interesting lecture for you. The number of relations and articles presenting implemented projects, as long as the nature and scale of described initiatives show distinctly that the interest of academics and non-governmental institutions in e-learning has been growing.
There are a few papers in our current issue, which I would highly recommend. The first is dedicated to information policy of companies, their transparency for investors and stakeholders. Important issues concerning systems which detect plagiarisms have been discussed in another article which describes an example of Cracow University of Economics. Readers can also get acquainted with a paper about Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL). In KM section, I recommend Transfer of knowledge at a university and memoir about Peter Drucker; in LL section - an article about workaholism. We also publish a paper about an important problem of cyber-criminality - phishing and a relation from the biggest international e-learning conference which was organized in November-December in Berlin ('E-learning worldwide' section). And, last but not least, I encourage you to read articles from a research Conducting online classes at the academic level - scenarios and schemes, using Internet knowledge databases which has been developed in Warsaw School of Economics.
It is also a pleasure to present our new initiative - the 'e-mentor' Virtual Library. We have enumerated in current issue first publications whose electronic versions are available on our website: www.e-mentor.edu.pl (publications are in Polish).
