3rd Symposium Distance education - methods and tools

The article is a report from the third symposium "Distance education - methods and tools" which was organized in Gdynia Maritime University between 17-18th October 2005. During the meeting, apart from presenting relations from research, current and planned projects financed with the European funds and ways of applying for those funds and methods of project management have been discussed. Among 20 proceedings, also such issues as alternative systems of distance education, creation of didactic materials and examples of curriculums have been presented.
