Knowledge mapping within a company

One of the basic tasks in a company, which enables to use knowledge effectively is an exposure and a localization of knowledge resources. The localization of knowledge may occur with the application of many tools, such as knowledge maps, which are graphic representation of mutual relations between the intellectual assets of a company. In the article, the author explains the classification of knowledge maps, the ways of their creation and functioning as well as proposes the model that may be used in a company.
