E-learning training as a support for e-business in the sector of small- and medium-sized enterprises
The Polish sector of small- and medium-scale enterprises involves 70 proc. of the state economy's employees altogether. The personnel functioning within such enterprises has created the specificity of its own by applying a simplified system in the area of the personnel department. Admittedly, they do not have extensive personnel departments at their disposal, in contrast to large-scale companies, yet they still are in equal measure obliged to fulfill the stringent requirements imposed by both the market and economic conditions. The process of continual in-service training guarantees the adjustment of available human resources to the above-mentioned demands. E-learning is a modern method of this process support, especially useful in the sector of small- and medium-scale enterprises, which is oriented towards e-business.
