Technologies of mobile access to a corporate e-mail

The article is a review of technologies which enable a mobile access to a corporate electronic mail. The author describes and compares three products: ActiveSync (of Microsoft), SyncML (of Open Mobile Alliance) and BlackBerry (of Research In Motion company). There are many advantages of using a mobile access to e-mail: managers can save up to one hour every day reading e-mails during a trip and can make decisions during a day even being outside the company. Moreover, fast reactions and decisions improve the effectiveness of a company.
