Strategy of national development 2007-2015: good years for education and science?

The article presents issues of development of education, science and innovation which are parts of the Strategy of national development 2007-2015. The whole document was discussed by the author in e-mentor no 1(18)/2007 in the article Strategy of national development - the main document of the new programming system.

As education, science and innovation are to play the key role in the Lizbon strategy, it seems that the future of those areas will be bright. It doesn't mean though that particular countries will be able to participate to the same degree in advantages of the whole educational and scientific strategy and realized their own goals effectively. Poland, being a country of a relatively low level of development and lower salaries, is a potential area of brain drain.
