The article is dedicated to the idea of artificial intelligence. The author presents its definition and discusses different interpretations of AI. He also characterizes methods of artificial intelligence and describes prospects of AI stating that it will definitely be developing in the future and it is not even possible to evaluate the range of that development. Probably, it will last as long as human beings discover all mysteries of the Nature.
