Knowledge management models in a company



Knowledge management is a way of managing company which includes all processes of creating, disseminating and using knowledge aiming at realization of company's goals. In practice, KM has various forms depending on company's activities, branch and strategy. There are four main KM strategies implemented in different sectors and branches of economy. First one concentrates on knowledge management as a key resource of a company. The second treats KM as a way of improving products and services. In the third, knowledge management means managing the core activity of a company. The last one is KM as a way of improving processes. The models have been described in the article.
