German idea of lifelong education

Lifelong education is a political and educational strategy which is strongly connected with conditions of a country in which it is being realized. This means that we can exemplify national versions of this idea. The article shows the evolution of lifelong education in Germany, in relation to postulates of international organizations like UNESCO, OECD and the European Union.
