Association of Academic E-learning
Academic e-learning has been successfully developing in Polish universities for years. Although we lack overall solutions and legal support, many academies implemented distance education and the role of e-learning is growing. This is a dawning of the phase of mature development of e-learning when we will share experience and create models of good practice promoting further growth of distance education.
It is a pleasure to inform e-mentor readers that the new Association of Academic E-learning has been registered (with Polish abbreviation: SEA, www.sea.edu.pl). The main aims of AAE are: promoting the idea of information society and e-learning among academics, in public administration and economy, promoting high quality standards of education with the use of ICT, virtualization of didactic and organizational processes in universities, supporting institutions which educate online in didactic and organizational cooperation, inspiring and strengthening bounds between science and economy.
