General problems of lifelong learning development in Poland
Lifelong learning has become an idea which, with more and more importance, decides about a shape and direction of contemporary development of education. Many pedagogical institutions have attempted to implement the idea into practice. A few countries have already enacted laws which define regulations of permanent vocational training and lifelong learning and there are many countries which are preparing such laws. However, problems of lifelong education are equivocally understood. There exist different views which derive from various concepts of education development in each country which became tendencies of realization and scope of educational activities.
Poland has also tried to define lifelong education in a form of strategy. The issue is important and necessary because Polish educational system presents definitely outdated solutions.
