Vatican has been using the internet in different activities of the Catholic Church since 1993. Ten years later, Vatican homepage www.vatican.va was visited in average 60.000 times a day. The article describes the attitude of Catholic Church and the Pope to the internet and new technologies and presents content of Vatican websites.
