Interactive method of teaching adults
Computers have supported interactions among people since 1960s. Their main task is to develop and improve cooperation between people. Interactions have different forms - most popular are e-mails, forums, chats, video- and audio-video-conferences, online games and weblogs. However, it is not enough to communicate online.
Whats important is to meet people personally and use techniques supporting software during those meetings. The idea is very important in education because adults value personal contact with a teacher and they like to cooperate in teams. Techniques which join teamwork supervised by a facilitator with using software are more and more common in teaching adults. The article presents an example of such software - Zing The Team Learning System.
