Considering a growing number of elderly people, it is more and more important to ensure satisfying and decent old age for them. Many seniors want to be active and creative during their retirement, but they don.t have appropriate conditions to do so. Universities of the Third Age fulfill their needs through the idea of lifelong learning. The article presents the activity of Warsaw Universities of the Third Age and the profile of their students.
