Interactive tools from quizzes to workshops - lectuters' experiences and students' opinions
This article discusses a case study of employing the Moodle platform as an extension of an on-campus course. Interactive online tools were introduced to the course with a conviction that they would increase the effectiveness of teaching by increasing the number of activities and structuring interaction between students. During the course, students were gradually introduced to the platform and its tools: quizzes, forums, wikis, workshops. The effects of using e-learning are discussed on the basis of students surveys, records of their online activity and scores. The analysis shows that interactive tools were endorsed by students.
