Educational activity of central banks
- part 1



Central banks in many countries have undertaken projects which aim at educating their present and potential clients in economics. These are various activities with different educational tools which are being used and target groups which the activities are addressed to. The article describes educational initiatives of two central banks of Europe - the Bank of England and Deutsche Bundesbank. Not only in countries like England and Germany the education in economics is perceived as an important social task. Educational activities of other banks, from American, African and Asian countries will be presented in next issues of 'e-mentor'.
