Relations between culture and realization of KM processes in organizations - part 1

National culture or culture of a particular community has a huge impact on shaping attitudes and behaviours of human beings. Becoming a member of organization, we bring in a 'luggage' of our experience, our value-system, moral code and stereotypes. Those elements influence to a high degree on processes of gaining, generating and using knowledge, especially when we consider creating knowledge as a dynamic social process with deep interactions between people which are conditioned by comprehensive set of social assumptions, values, symbols and language. The aim of the article is to attract the attention to the role of culture - both national and organizational - in realization of knowledge management processes.
