Social barriers in processes of generating and transferring knowledge in organizations
Discussing the problem of barriers which make it difficult or even impossible to create organizational knowledge, we should distinguish two situations. In the first one, companies do not undertake any conscious activities aiming at development of knowledge, transfer of knowledge or searching for practical ways of their usage. In the other, authorities of a organization have decided to implement a KM system, made all necessary preparations, gained indispensable resources and applied helpful techniques and still they face barriers which lower the effectiveness and efficiency of the chosen strategy. The article presents KM strategies, barriers of implementing KM, transfer and development of knowledge and possible ways of overcoming them.
