The article presents main features of Generation Y. The author compares characteristics of the Generation in Poland and in Western countries. He also discusses educational challenges resulting from advent of Y students, which are: promotion of the culture of intellectual achievements and civil attitude, prevention of digital exclusion and application of new methods of communication.
