Inbreeding in Polish science

The article characterizes the problem of inbreeding in Polish higher education institutions. Working in the same institution for the whole life, hiring relatives, avoiding 'strangers' from outside have become so common that there are almost no opponents for such a situation. Although inbreeding cannot be eliminated easily and quickly, it can be done step by step or by implementing half-measures, e.g. exchange of academics within the same city.
