Internet educational platforms versus foreign language learning and teaching process

Nowadays, using the Internet in foreign language teaching and learning is taken for granted. However, it seems that the overused and underdefined 'e-learning' is being replaced with 'b-learning' (or blended learning) and that there comes the time for reflection and questions about the limits of using the Internet tools in FLT/L. In the article, some issues connected with using the Internet learning platforms are discussed with special focus on such issues as the organisation of the teaching and learning process, teacher-learner communication, educational materials, and teachers' and learners' ICT skills.
