What is the difference between relations with clients in e-business and traditional enterprise? Part 2

In the first part of the article, published in June 2006 issue of 'e-mentor', the author defined five main features of e-business enterprise in its relation with clients: virtualization of a product, individualization, networking, marketing of experience and using the cycle of client's life in a company. Virtualization of a product and individualization of offered value have been described in details in the previous part. This article presents an analysis of network effect, and marketing of experience. The author also describes how the cycle of client's life can be used, when understood properly, by the company. He states that an appropriate and coherent implementation of each dimension can lead to better and more effective use of possibilities given by the internet and ICT.
