What is the difference between relations with clients in e-business and traditional enterprise? Part 1

Contemporary organizations have to compete on many markets. The most important one is clients' market as it brings many values, especially revenues, which in turn attract participants of other markets - shareholders, suppliers, potential employees. The author defines five main features of e-business enterprise in its relation with clients: virtualization of a product, individualization, networking, marketing of experience and using the cycle of client's life in a company. In the article, he presents two of them: virtualization of a product and individualization of offered value which differ e-business enterprise from traditional one (others will be presented in next issues of 'e-mentor'). In the process of virtualization, digitalization of a product and enriching it in information is being carried out. Individualization makes it possible to adapt composition of values to a client's or user's preferences.
