The article is a report from a conference Academic entrepreneurship in Poland - possibilities of development which was organized on 19 May 2006 by The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The meeting contained interesting speeches of representatives of different institutions, including Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Ministry of Economy, foreign and Polish universities. Most important issues of the conference were dedicated to cooperation between business and academic environments, the idea of entrepreneurship incubators, barriers of development and trends for future.
