Discussion about effects of e-learning
In the first days of June an editorial discussion was organized. The discussion was dedicated to one of most interesting aspects of e-learning - its effectiveness, especially during virtual lectures. Fragments of the discussion are presented in the article. The participants state that effectiveness should be evaluated through such factors as: student outcomes, student attitudes, student satisfaction, but also access to materials, lecturer satisfaction and cost effectiveness. They also compare students' work in traditional and online environment and describe social aspects of e-learning.
