Consumer education as an element of lifelong learning - the DOLCETA project
One of the results of Poland's membership in the European Union is the prevalence of opinion that knowledge plays fundamental role in socio-economic life, on the job market and in consumers' lives. The article describes the DOLCETA project (Development of Online Consumer Education Tools for Adults) which is coordinated by the EUCEN (European Universities Continuing Education Network). Within the project, two online courses have been prepared: the first is dedicated to consumer rights and the second deals with financial services. Two others: consumer safety and consumer education are in the stage of preparation. Warsaw School of Economics is the Polish Partner of the project.
