Elements of distance education, which support technical studies

Implementing non-synchronic courses in technical studies curriculum becomes more and more common, mainly as a support for traditional studies. It is possible to use them not only in theoretical courses, but also laboratories and designing, although there exist some restrictions resulting from specific expectations in engineering studies. Understanding some parts of engineering knowledge can be easier if we support it with distance education.

The article is a description of a traditional course which was transformed into an online one. The course is a preparation for practical lessons, combining laboratories and designing.
