Language teachers' professional training in applying information and communication technology

Today's technologies are essential tools for teaching and learning. To use these tools effectively and efficiently, teachers need training and just-in-time support. Only then can teachers be informed and confident in their use of new technologies. This paper presents programs of in-service German teacher training, designed to provide teachers with the skills and knowledge how to use these new technologies and to effectively integrate information and communication technology into the teaching process.
