E-citizen - overcoming barriers

The article raises the issues of e-integration in the information society building process. The results of surveys connected with indicating groups threatened by social exclusion and barriers in building an e-Society have been presented. Also, the results of surveys in Europe and in Poland have been compared and analyzed. Moreover, the analysis of issues which are going to be used by e-Citizen have been presented. The attention has been paid to essential significance of education in e-Society building. Furthermore, there has been presented a program of ECDL certification focusing mainly on e-Citizen certificate.
