Selected elements of knowledge management in a public organization
The authors try to answer a question: What is the meaning of knowledge management for making decisions in a town council which depends on public funds? Assuming that this institution has a decentralized management system, they also try to define tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge essential for the decision-making process. Another issue described in the article is an identification of activities which aim at using knowledge in a better way and tasks which would influence the relations between employees.
