Internet telephones can revolutionize both traditional and mobile phones. Voice ober Internet Protocol is more and more commonly used and there are more operators on the market which increases competition and decreases prices. The article presents the history of telephoning via the internet, its advantages and disadvantages, development in Poland and threats resulting form its usage.
