Wiki site as an educational project parallel to the cultural studies university course

This article presents an educational wiki project the author led throughout the academic year 2011/2012 parallel to the course Introduction to the Cultural Studies at the University of Gdansk. As a result of the project the site http://wiedzaokulturze.wikispaces.com was created by a group of sixty students of Cultural Studies on a free web hosting service Wikispaces. Every week the students shared their opinions about the text they were supposed to read by adding new posts to the site. They also commented on the topics the author had proposed by leaving comments on the discussion forum.

The project is already closed, but the site can be a valuable source of knowledge about cultural studies. In this article the author would like to share her teaching experience she gained leading the project.
