Dear e-mentor Readers,

It's my pleasure to present you the October issue of the "e-mentor" and to inform you about the positive evaluation of our magazine by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. "E-mentor" appeared in the new list of magazines awarded points, which was established on 17^th October 2012. Authors can be granted 8 credit points, so 2 more that yet so far. I would like to thank the authors creating "e-mentor" since 2003 and to encourage everyone who would like to present the results of their scientific activity to publish in our magazine.

I would like to direct the readers' attention to two important events.

First of them is the second edition of certification procedure for e-teachers, the establishing of which was declared by the Association of Academic E-learning. I encourage all teachers having already experience in conducting classes with the use of modern technologies to get familiar with this initiative, as well as to apply and make an effort get a valuable certificate.

Moreover, I invite all those interested in e-education to participate in the conference The development of e-learning in higher education of economics, which will be held of 22 of November 2012 in Wroclaw Economic University. Among the most important issues in the conference program there can be enumerated: added value of e-learning, open internet courses, course e-books, the tools of modern education, the quality of didactics and research in e-learning as well as the role of social internet in education. The registration will be opened till 12 November 2012.
